The Concept of Animal Testing

Animal testing has become a very controversial topic in our society today, for a number of reasons. Although it can advance us scientifically, and teach us a lot about the human body, it is extremely harmful to animals, is mostly ineffective, and wastes resources. This is a debate that will continue for many years to follow, but some changes are being made. Organizations have emerged to raise awareness for this cruelty, and countless people make conscious efforts individually to educate others or help combat animal testing. As a whole, animal testing should be eliminated, and efforts like these must continue in order for us to achieve that.
