As individuals, there are many things we can do to combat animal testing. One crucial way to do this is to become aware and educated on the topic. Understanding the nature of this testing allows one to see its negative effects more clearly. Also, there are many ways to get involved. There are many organizations that work to combat animal testing, including PETA, which works towards a solution to this problem each and everyday. In a more extreme sense, one could choose to live a vegan or animal friendly lifestyle. Regardless of how, we all must make a conscious effort to change the normality of animal testing.

Do you know the true cost of animal testing? In reality, animal testing requires a lot of time, money, and resources, all of which end up going to waste. The success rate of these experiments is oftentimes low, rendering the cruelty done unto animals useless. Is it really worth all of this time and money, let alone the torture of animals, just for us to continue to fail?

Going vegan is an effective way to demonstrate your support for animal rights. In addition to health benefits, animal cruelty is one of the main reasons one will choose to go vegan. In response to the brutal testing these animals face each day, vegans stand together to combat this injustice and give the animals a voice.

Many people do not understand the effects that animal testing has on the animals themselves, and selfishly see it merely a means to increase income. These types of testings can be extremely harmful to the animals being tested on. Experts conducting these tests view them as subjects, rather than living creatures. Because of this, they find little issue with doing whatever necessary to conduct their experiment, even if it is at the expense of the creature itself. These tests can sometimes be so vigorous that they brutally harm, or oftentimes kill, the animals. With these detrimental things in mind, it is crucial for us to put a stop to this disgusting testing.
